Empilisiweni Masimanyane
Mit HIV wollen diese Frauen nichts zu tun haben. Auch der gro§e Kropf am Hals der Xhosa-Wotwe wurde bis zum Besuch der Empilisiweni-Mitarbeiter als ein Schicksalsschlag bewertet. Dennoch lie§ sie sich auf eine Beratung und Untersuchung in der Klinik ein.
1973: born in Johannesburg / S.A.. 1996: full-time assistant of Willi Lösing, advertising photographer, Fotopartner Essen. As an undergraduate student: part-time assistant of Andreas Wemheuer, Hamburg, and freelance assistant of various advertising and industrial photographers in the Ruhr area. 1997-2006: degree course in Communication Design at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences / Photographic Design department. Graduated (Diploma) under Prof. Jörg Winde and Prof. Cindy Gates. Since 2006: freelance photographer and photo designer for advertising and PR agencies, companies, and municipal bodies. Professional interests: people / beauty / fashion / food / architecture / industry / advertising / corporate communications.
